How to Download a New Map in Battlegrounds Mobile India
Battlegrounds Mobile India has been the most popular battle royale game that you can play in India. In fact, it is the Indian version of the PUBG Mobile game. The game is similar to that of the global version and has the same battle maps as we expected before. Once the game is installed, you will be provided with an Erangel map by default. Other than that, you need to download each and every map separately. Here is the guide to download a new map in Battlegrounds Mobile India [BGMI].
Requirements to Download Map in BGMI
- The Map download file will be saved only in your Internal storage and not on any external storage of your device. So make sure to have at least 4 GB of internal storage space free.
- Try using a WiFi connection to download the file to avoid any interruption and for faster downloading speed.
- While downloading the map, if you start match-making, the download will be paused. The download will pause even if you are in the Cheer Park.
- Also, make sure to have the updated operating system running on your device.
Steps to Download New Map in Battlegrounds Mobile India
To reduce the size of our app, the publisher has made Sanhok, Miramar, and Vikendi (beta) maps separate downloads. By default, the game has Erangel map was ready to play.
[1] Launch Battlegrounds Mobile India on your smartphone.
- Android – Play Store
- iOS – App Store
[2] Once launched, click on Select Mode on the top of Start.
[3] Under the Classic section, you can find all four maps.
[4] Click on the Download icon next to the required map to start downloading it.
[5] Once the download is done, you can be able to play on that specific map.
Alternate Way to Download Map in BGMI
[1] Instead of clicking on Select Mode, click on the Download icon with a small Gift icon find above it.
[2] Here you can find all the resource files that are available to download.
[3] Under the Maps section, you can find all battle maps.
[4] Click on the Play icon next to the map to start the download.
[5] After successful download, you can start playing on the map.
