How to Remove or Hide Companion in BGMI [Battlegrounds Mobile India]

Companion is like a pet animal for the players in Battlegrounds Mobile India that come with us throughout the game. Having a companion does not provide any advantage or additional features in the game. It is just a pet to show off your inventory. Right now, there are three companions available in BGMI: Falcon, Buddy Kong, and Buddy Godzilla. You can add them or remove them anytime in your BGMI game. Why Should I Remove Companion?

Companions are good to show off your game inventory item to your friends but when it comes to the actual game, companions are a bit annoying. Among all the companions, Falcon is the most annoying for some users because they travel along with you on the shoulder and cover/hide the game view in TPP and FPP. Most importantly, the companion can be seen by your friends/teammates and there is no need to worry about exposure. Also, having a companion led to losing concentration in the game.

How to Remove Companion in BGMI (Both Game & Lobby)

[1] Launch Battlegrounds Mobile India on your smartphone.

• Android – Play Store
• iOS – App Store

[2] Tap on Workshop at the bottom right of the home screen.

[3] From the Workshop menu, choose Companions.

[4] Choose the Companion you have in your lobby.

[5] Click on Send Back to remove the companion from the game and lobby.

[6] To bring back the companion, tap on the Bring icon.

How to Hide Companion in BGMI [Only in-game]

[1] Tap on Workshop at the bottom right of the home screen.

[2] From the Workshop menu, choose Companions.

[3] Here, you can find all the companions in the game.

[4] Tap on the Settings (cog) icon on the top.

[5] In the Settings tab, disable all the options.

• Show your own companion (TPP)
• Show your own companion (FPP)

[6] Now, you have successfully hidden your companion in BGMI.

[7] To hide other players’ companions just disable Show other players’ Companions toggle.

How to Get Free Companion in BGMI

There are several events that come and go in BGMI. In some particular events, you may have the chance to win the companion free of cost. To have it, you need to be up to date about all the events and grab the chance instantly when available. Once you missed the chance, it cannot be retrieved.
