How to Switch Off Spectator Mode in BGMI [Battlegrounds Mobile India]

In Battlegrounds Mobile India, all the friends, recently played players, crew, and clan members can see your gameplay via the spectator mode. It allows you to see your whole team’s gameplay. This spectator mode is applicable only on classic mode and is not available for other modes. It may seem like a lack of gaming privacy to some users, and in that case, you can be able to switch off and on the spectator mode in BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) anytime via settings. Steps to Switch Off Spectator Mode in BGMI

[1] Launch Battlegrounds Mobile India on your smartphone.

• Android – Play Store
• iOS – App Store

[2] Click on the Up arrow icon on the bottom right corner of the home screen.

[3] Choose Settings from the expanded menu.

[4] In Basic settings, scroll down to Allow Spectators.

[5] Turn off the toggle next to Allow Spectators.

[6] It will hide the Spectator icon next to the profile while you are in the game.

By doing this, it will restrict every player on the game from spectating you and your gameplay. More importantly, it is applicable only for spectating from the profile. People killed in the game can still spectate you by tapping on Spectate Opponent or watching Death replay.

How to Find “If anyone Spectate me” in BGMI

Follow the steps below to find out whether someone is spectating you or not while in the gameplay.

[1] Play any Classic game in Battlegrounds Mobile India.

[2] Click on the In-Game message icon (by default, found below the map).

[3] Go to Play/Spectating icon (last icon) from the in-game message tab.

[4] Here you can see all your current spectators.

What can a Spectator do while Spectating?

• They can watch every move of every player of your game.
• They can see your health level.
• The current weapon in your hand, skins, and Pet (if any).
• Number of Alive and Finishes.
• Able to see where the player looking at or scoping at.
• If allowed, they can see the career results like number of matches played, Tier rank, and the F/D ratio
  • Note: You can just hide your carrer results information from the spectator mode by Settings >> Basic >> Allow Spectators to view tier information >> Toggle off.
